PURPOSE: The A district is intended to allow for and protect agriculture uses within the town by controlling density and land coverage and providing for compatible land uses.
PERMITTED USES: General agriculture is allowed. Unreasonable and continuous odors, dust or noise are not allowed within 300 feet of a residential or retail business structure. Also allowed in A districts are such things as the following: church, cemetery, fire station, golf course, greenhouse, kennel, school, park, recreational camp, radio and television station, stand for the sale of commodities raised on the premises, veterinary clinic, transmission line, station and tower, and essential public utility and public service installation. Not allowed are business offices, repair, sales or storage facilities.
LOT AREA: There is no minimum area requirement except where permanent residential occupancy is conducted as an accessory use, there shall be at least three acres of land for each permanently occuplied dwelling.
LOT WIDTH: There is no minimum required width.
YARDS: front - 30 feet; side - 15 feet; rear - 40 feet.
PURPOSE: The R-S district is intended as a permanent residential district for those areas of the community where it is desirable to maintain low residential densities.
USES: single-family dwelling, church, community center, fire station, park, school, essential public utility and public service installation and conditional home occupation. Not permitted are business offices, repair, sales or storage facilities.
LOT AREA: 15,000 square feet
LOT WIDTH: 100 feet at the front
YARDS: front - 30 feet; side - 15 feet; rear - 40 feet. A garage entered from the alley may be located not closer than 10 feet from the alley line.
HEIGHT: 35 feet
FENCES AND WALLS: not over 3 feet unless approved by zoning administrator. Front yards may have fences up to 4 feet with 6 1/2 feet elsewhere. On corner lots no fence, wall or obstructing foliage shall be allowed within 20 feet of the street. Barbed wire and electrically charged fences are not allowed. Open-mesh fences of any height may be built on school, park and playground lots.
PURPOSE: The R-1 district is intended to be applied to lands which are suitble for low-density residential development within the existing community.
USES: single-family dwelling and may include up to two boarders, church, community center, day care for up to six children, fire station, library, police station, park, school, essential public utility and public service installation and conditional home occupation. Not permitted are business offices, repair, sales or storage facilities.

USES: single-family dwelling and may include up to two boarders, multifamily dwelling not over four units, church, community center, day care for up to 11 children, fire station, foster care for up to four children, library, nursing home, park, school, essential public utility and public service installation and conditional home occupation. Not permitted are business offices, repair, sales or storage facilities.
LOT AREA: 6000 square feet plus 3000 sq. ft. for each dwelling unit over two units

Not permitted are business offices, repair, sales or storage facilities.
LOT AREA: 6000 square feet plus 1500 sq. ft. for each dwelling unit over four units

YARDS: front - 20 feet; side of building 35 ft high or less - 5 feet; side of building over 35 feet high - 8 feet; rear - 20 feet.

LOT AREA: 4000 square feet for each mobile home in a park; 6000 square feet for each mobile home in a subdivision or single-family dwelling operated as an accessory use to a mobile home park

PURPOSE: The C-1 district is intended for the purpose of grouping those retail, commercial, institutional and office uses necessary for a central business district, and is meant to be the most intensely developed of all the business districts.
USES: retail store, amusement place, auditorium, bowling alley, theater, motel, hotel, garage, bank, business and technical school, church, restaurant, bar, fire station, police station and jail, gas station, library, museum, medical clinic, dental clinic, mortuary, newspaper office, parking, private club, taxi and bus station, radio and television studio, essential public utility and public service installation. USES: animal hospital, assembly or fabrication from component parts or from materials already possessed, automobile repair, bottling plant, building materials storage or sales, carpenter, cabinet, plumbing or sheet metal shop, contractor's yard, dry cleaning and laundry plant, fire station, frozen food locker, grain and feed mill, grain elevator, greenhouse and plant husbandry, laboratory, machinery and implement sales, service and repair, monument making and sales, motor vehicle sales, service, repair and storage, oil field supply sales and storage, office, police station, printing and publishing, parking and storage of vehicles, radio and television transmitting station, restaurant, truck terminal, upholstering shop, vocational or training school, warehousing or storage, welding shop, wholesaling, essential public utility and public service installation, underground oil or gas storage, heavy equipment sales, service and repair; no home occupation

USES: animal hospital; animal or livestock sales; asphalt plant; bottling plant; building materials storage or sales; contractor's yard for vehicles, storage and sales; bulk plant, gasoline or LP gas; dry cleaning and laundry plant; feed and seed store; fire station; gasoline filling station; grain elevator; grinding mill; greenhouse and nursery; heavy equipment sales, service and repair; incinerator; enclosed junkyard, auto wrecking or salvage yard (conditional); kennel; lumberyard; manufacturing, processing or fabrication; oil, gas or mineral exploration, production, processing, separation or storage; oil field supply, storage and sales; parking or storage of vehicles; quarry; ready-mix concrete plant; refinery; slaughterhouse; truck or freight terminal; veterinary clinic; warehouse; welding shop; essential public utility or public service installation. Home occupations are not allowed.
