We have no local TV or radio station. Most people either suscribe to cable service or have a satellite dish.

Officials from the state are at 120 S. Cole on Thursdays from 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. except for lunch.

Is there public transportation?
We have no bus service. The closest is in Rock Springs, which also has AMTRAK. Several businesses offer shuttle services and there is senior citizen transportation. We have no taxi.

What kind of taxes do residents pay?
We have no state income tax in Wyoming. The sales tax is 4%.

What is the housing situation?
Rentals are scarce. Prices range from $300/month for a one-bedroom, unfurnished apartment to $700/month for a 4 bedroom home. Pinedale homes range in price from $60,000 - $300,000. With acreage they begin at about $85,000. Property prices are rising rapidly.
